PKM Training S1- Mechanical Engineering 2020

Surakarta, 10 November 2020 S1 – Engineering Study Program (UNS) held a PKM training which was carried out online. This PKM training was attended by students both from Sebelas Maret University, or universities from outside UNS. This PKM training is part of a series of activities “Technology and Scientific Week”. The speaker at this writing training named Khikmah Nur Rikhy S, he is currently studying at Sebelas Maret University majoring in Chemical Engineering. The achievement he has earned is to become “2nd Place For Poster Presentations and Product Display On PIMNAS 2019. The title of PKM that he proposes is” Mutual Comand (Modification of Structure – Function of LiNixMnyCoz.O2 as Cathode for Electric Car Li-Ion Battery “.

This PKM practice is different from the usual. This is because it is still in the situation of the Covid Pandemic 19, the PKM exercise this time is being carried out online via Zoom. There were 84 participants in this PKM exercise. In this PKM exercise, he provided material about the basics that must be understood and possessed by students in order to make a PKM properly and correctly and he also gave tips & tricks on how to make our PKM pass, and become one of the champions at PIMNAS. . The benefits of participating in PKM are: Sharpening Creativity, Increasing writing ability, Pouring ideas, Gaining new experiences, getting acquaintances or connections, Good communication and teamwork skills. There are two kinds of PKM, namely: 1. PKM 5 Fields, which consists of (Community Service (PKM – M), Karsa Cipta (PKM – KC), Technology (PKM-T), Research (PKM-P): Exact (PKM-PE), and Social Humanities (PKM-SH), Entrepreneurship (PKM-K). Then the second type of PKM is: PKM AI GT which consists of (Scientific Articles, and Written Ideas). The key to determining PKM: Must know the idea, and have to know where the idea we want will be taken in. PKM Structure: Program Title, Problem Background Problem Formulation, Program Objectives, Expected Output, Usefulness, Overview, Library Implementation Methods, Activity Schedule, Cost Design, Bibliography, and Attachments.

As for the message he conveyed to us, the younger generation is “So that we can grow up young we can be productive, one way is to follow this PKM. Do not be afraid not to find an idea, to find an idea we have to increase our sensitivity to any problems that occur in our environment, and we can raise an idea from simple things.
