Program Educational Objective

:

 

The program educational objectives of the Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering program are to educate graduates who capable of applying both scientific and non-scientific engineering for:

1.      Being a professional workforce in the manufacturing industry, government agencies, research institution, educational institutions, or consultant services,

2.      Being an entrepreneur in the field of technological engineering,

3.      Being a professional in other areas (non-engineering of mechanical engineering) through further training,

4.      Continuing education to a higher level.

Expected Learning Outcomes

:

 

Students in the the Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering program are prepared to attain the program educational objectives by the time they graduate based on the following expected learning outcomes:

1.      Able to apply the knowledge of mathematics, basic science, and basic engineering, to identify, formulate, and complete the field of mechanical engineering,

2.      Able to design components, operate, manage, and maintain machinery and systems related to machinery,

3.      Able to design, conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data obtained,

4.      Able to utilize methods, skills, and  modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice,

5.      Able to communicate effectively, not only with fellow engineering scholars but also with the wider community, including proficiency in foreign languages (preferably in English),

6.      Able to work effectively both individually and in multidisciplinary or multicultural teams,

7.      Having knowledge of entrepreneurship and processes to generate innovation
